“Queen Mimi” chronicles the extraordinary life of Marie “Mimi” Haist. After losing her home and job, Mimi found herself living in a Santa Monica laundromat for over two decades. Sleeping among the washers and dryers, she earned a modest income by helping customers with their laundry, just enough to get by.
Her life took a surprising turn when she befriended a couple of Hollywood stars. These friendships brought unexpected changes, offering Mimi a new perspective on life and showcasing the resilience of the human spirit.
